- Damn I wish she hadn't heard our argument but she is a smart kid. She knows what it's been like being by ourselves all of our lives. I needed to see Scottie so that he could comfort me. That can't happen today so I figured might as well keep myself busy. I went outside to work on the backyard landscaping. I love being outdoors especially on an unseasonably warm spring day. I immersed myself into my gardening and lost track of time. Before I knew it the girls were out in the backyard saying hello to me. It wasn't long before I heard them splashing around in the pool.
